Following two consecutive postponements, Rossington Main return to Northern Counties East League Division One action with an away trip to Ollerton Town.
Ben Hunter’s Rossington Main side last featured before Christmas in a friendly between Retford FC. Having had two postponements for both the clash with Horbury Town and Beverley Town. Main carried on from where they left out registering a 3-1 victory and extending their winning run to four games in all competitions.
Ollerton last featured competitively like Main in early December. Before the cold weather crept in and caused fixture cancellations, Ollerton delivered a last-minute winner to defeat Rossington’s play-off rivals Horbury Town and then Main’s last league victims Selby Town in the game prior.
The Town managed by Stephen Bodle currently sit mid-table in the NCEL Division One. Eight places and 21 points below Rossington who occupy fourth spot and in the heart of the play-offs. Both sides share an equal head-to-head record in the pairs last five meetings having seen both win and lose twice to each other while drawing once.

Although there have been recent recovery improvements with both Jordan Buckham, Jack Watson and Cameron Barnett, the situation does remain the same for long-term injured Buckham, Matthew Wilson, Watson, Barnett and Niall Doran who will all continue to remain on the sidelines for this fixture.
