Following a ten-day break, Rosso get back to it at Oxford Street this Saturday by hosting The Choughs in the Isuzu FA Vase first round qualifying.
Ben Hunter’s side return to action following the break after a solid five-goal thumping against Goole AFC in the Northern Counties East League Premier which included a brace from both Ross Hannah and Manasse Kianga, plus Rosso born and bred duo Mitch Langton scoring and Lewis Graham registering a hat-trick of assists under the lights.
Retford FC who made the lateral move before the start of the season to the United Counties League Division One at Non-League step 6 have started the season well with four wins out of five games.
With Rosso piling their trade at a division higher than The Choughs, the familiar fixture has ended in Rossington’s favour 80% of the time in the last five competitive meetings for Doncaster’s highest ranked Non-League side.

The Choughs responded to Tyla Bell’s early opener for Rosso when Liam Frost put Retford level midway through the first-half. Brad Grayson restored Rosso’s lead before the break and then Kianga confirmed the 3-1 home victory, seven minutes before the final whistle went at Oxford Street.
