Rosso return home after a lengthy trip to Huddersfield at the weekend as Ben Hunter’s side host The Vikings under the lights once again.
Following two draws and a defeat away at the in-form Golcar United on Saturday, Doncaster’s highest ranked Non-League side are all set to welcome The Vikings for what is our second home Northern Counties East League Premier game of the new season.
Goole managed by Nathan Helliwell make the 24 mile trip to Doncaster for the second time this calendar year and after picking up zero points out of their opening two league games.
While Rosso achieved a place in the play-offs last year in what was their Non-League step 5 debut campaign and with The Vikings escaping the relegation drop by just eight points plus a relegation reprieve the season before, it was Goole who boasted the better head-to-head record last season after claiming a point from behind earlier on in the season at home and then a strong showing at Oxford Street in February to claim four points out of a possible six.

Last Time Out v Goole
Rosso lost on home soil last time the two sides came together back in mid-February on a cold evening under the lights at Oxford Street. While Rossington took the lead on the 17 minute through Liam Hardy, The Vikings came back from a goal behind with a goal from Sam Thompson and a brace from Brad Ghussein in the first-half which despite a second 45 minutes, the game ended 1-3 in The Vikings’ favour in front of a crowd of 212.
