Rosso are back at home for the fourth consecutive Saturday at Non-League step 5 as The Brewers make the trip to Doncaster.
Doncaster’s highest ranked Non-League side are all set to host Tadcaster in what is game number 13 of the current Northern Counties East League Premier following a defeat at home to Handsworth last weekend.
Taddy travel over from North to South Yorkshire in what is now into their second season back in the NCEL and also second with Mick O’Connell in charge since he departed Harrogate Railway Athletic in the summer of 2023. The Brewers have experienced a similar start to Rosso having collected 16 Points from 11 Games.
While Rosso collected four points out of a possible six from The Brewers in two head-to-head games last season, Tadcaster did hold out to a goalless draw on matchday number 37 which put an end to a fantastic winning run under previous manager Ben Hunter which consequently meant that Rosso could no longer finish in the top three and had to settle for fourth of which was still a monumental achievement in the club’s Non-League step 5 debut.

Last Time Out v Tadcaster
In front of 220 spectators in early April at the Young Guns Arena, Rosso’s five-game winning run, in attempt to seal a third-place finish which included the likes of beating Campion and NCEL Premier crowned champions Emley AFC came to end in Tadcaster on the second to last game of the regular season. Despite Ross Hannah finding the back of the net in the first half, the goal didn’t stand due to offside and so the game resulted in a 0-0 draw of which confirmed Rossington’s fourth place finish on their Non-League step 5 debut campaign.
