Doncaster’s highest ranked Non-League side make the journey to the current Northern Counties East League Premier leaders following a narrow 0-1 defeat away at Tadcaster Albion on Saturday.

The Cobbydalers who currently sit at the summit of the Non-League step 5 table host Rosso at The Regal Interiors Stadium following a surprising stalemate 0-0 draw away at Knaresborough Town at the weekend. Despite no goals from the weekend, Silsden last week acquired deadly in front of goal Robbie Fox from Farsley Celtic of the National League North. Fox made the move up to Non-League step 2 in the summer after netting 33 goals with last season’s fellow NCEL Premier play-off rivals Albion Sports.

Following a postponement earlier on in the season of which sees this meeting as the pair’s first of the current campaign, Rosso will be hoping to pick up some points against Silsden after The Cobbydalers completed the season double over Rossington last campaign despite Rosso finishing in the NCEL Premier play-offs on their debut season at this level.
