Following consecutive postponed fixtures due to the recent bad weather, Rosso finally get back to action on Saturday as they welcome Huddersfield based Golcar United to Oxford Street.
Greg Young’s side return home in what will be a fourth straight home fixture after both Bradford away trips to the likes of Campion and Silsden were called off due to the recent extremely cold temperatures. Prior to this mini break from action, Rosso registered back-to-back victories for the first time since mid-September against Eccleshill United and Bottesford Town.
Golcar make the trip to Doncaster after a good start to the season with Ashley and Gavin Connor’s side currently sat second in the table boasting five wins and a draw in their last six Northern Counties East League Premier fixtures.
There is currently 18 points and eight places which separate tenth place Rosso and second placed Golcar with United having played one game more. While the visitors defeated Rosso in the most previous encounter near the start of the current season, it was Rosso who completed the season double over Golcar last campaign.

Last Time Out v Golcar
Rosso was defeated on the road to United last time the two sides met back in early August in front of 259 spectators at the Skye Direct Stadium. Despite Rosso coming from two-goals behind after a goal from each of Callum Petch and George Doyle as both Ross Hannah and Manasse Kianga provided the strikes for Rosso, Golcar then went on to win 4-2 after both Petch and Doyle later confirmed their brace.
