Following multiple postponements, Rosso are all set to return to action this weekend away in Rotherham against Parkgate.
In what will be three weeks on since Rosso’s last competitive fixture, Greg Young’s side will be hoping to continue the good form of three consecutive Northern Counties East League Premier wins away at the newly promoted Steelemen.
The Steelmen managed by Scott Mason host Rosso having had a slight turn of results over the festive period as Parkgate come into this one without a win in their last five matches.
With Rosso achieving promotion the season prior to Parkgate and despite Young’s side delivering a convincing win in the reverse fixture, there is only two points and two places which separate tenth place Rosso and Parkgate in 12th with the Steelmen having played one-game more.

Last Time Out v Parkgate
Rosso bounced back with a convincing victory against the Steelmen last time the two sides met during mid-September 2024 in front of 171 spectators at Oxford Street. In what was Young’s first game in-charge as interim manager, a brace from Manasse Kianga plus a goal each from Lewis Graham and Ashely Worsfold delivered the four-goals for Rosso and despite Jacob Pearson’s strike on the ninety for Parkgate, Young’s interim managerial reigns would get off to a strong 4-1 winning start.
