It’s a third straight away fixture for Greg Young’s Rosso who make the 142-mile round trip to the North York Moors on Saturday.
Doncaster’s highest ranked Non-League side head to Pickering in fine-form having won four Northern Counties East League Premier games in a row after defeating Parkgate 1-2 last weekend. Prior to that, Rosso also defeated Winterton Rangers, Barton Town and Goole AFC.
The Pikes host Rosso at Mill Lane after a 0-3 defeat at home last time out to Penistone Church however, the Pikes beat the Steelmen like Rosso at the beginning of New Year.
While Rosso have beaten Pickering in all of their last four recent meetings over the last two seasons, there is only three points and two places which separate ninth place Rosso and the 11th place Pikes in the current NCEL Premier standings.

Last Time Out v Pickering
Rosso delivered a 4-1 convincing victory in front of 163 spectators last time the two sides met back in late-September at Oxford Street. Cameron Hough opened the scoring for Rosso before a Ross Hannah brace and Manasse Kianga goal followed. The Pikes pulled one back through Ben Silburn but by that time the damage had already been done as Rosso ended up and deservedly so on top in the five-goal thriller.
