Wood arrived from Stocksbridge in October 2024 as part of the five new signings Greg Young unveiled since he was appointed Rossington Main manager on a permanent basis. Wood came through the Gladiators' pathway system of which he was promoted to their senior team where he made four first-team appearances before moving on to the join the Park Steels after he was released following the appointment of Ryan Cresswell as the new Matlock manager.Squad
